Of Kitigan Zibi, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2024, at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. He was 62 years of age. Son of the late Rene Commando and the late Betsy Odjick. Beloved husband of Rebecca ‘Becky’ Tolley. Loving father of: Blythe (Chelsea), Aaron ‘Elmo’ (Cass), and Annie (Keith). Dear Brother: Marlene, Donna (George), Alison (Tim), and Clint... Of Kitigan Zibi, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2024, at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. He was 62 years of age. Son of the late Rene Commando and the late Betsy Odjick. Beloved husband of Rebecca ‘Becky’ Tolley. Loving father of: Blythe (Chelsea), Aaron ‘Elmo’ (Cass), and Annie (Keith). Dear Brother: Marlene, Donna (George), Alison (Tim), and Clint (Stephanie), also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, grandchildren, and friends.
Barry will be waked at the Kitigan Zibi Funeral Home, Tuesday, May 28th, 2024, starting at 10 a.m. for the family members, and from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. for the public. Wednesday, May 29, 2024, the viewings will start at 8 a.m. until noon, and from noon to 1 p.m. there will be a celebration of life. The interment will follow at the Kitigan Zibi cemetery.
