Originaire de Maniwaki, est décédé paisiblement le 30 décembre 2025 au Centre hospitalier de Maniwaki, à l’âge de 89 ans. Elle était l’épouse bien aimée de feu Cleetis Monette, fille de feu James Carroll et de feu Annie Lannigan.
Elle laisse dans le deuil sa fille chérie Roxann (feu Roger Paris), ses... précieux petits-enfants : Chanelle Paris (Mathieu Levesque), Tristan Paris (Elodie Laroche), sa sÅ”ur Alvira (feu Neil Gailbraith) ainsi que plusieurs beaux-frères, belles-sÅ”urs, neveux, nièces et ami(e)s, qui garderont d’elle un souvenir rempli de tendresse. Elle fut précédée par son frère Patrick, ainsi que ses deux sÅ”urs, Elizabeth et Rachel.
Un remerciement tout particulier pour les services exceptionnels prodigués par Dre. Audrey Bertrand et de Dr. Legault du Centre Hospitalier de Maniwaki. La famille voudrait aussi remercier Suzanne et André Lanthier pour leur support inconditionnel.
La famille recevra les condoléances à l’église St-Patrick au 252 rue des Oblats à Maniwaki à compter de 10 :30 suivis d’un service religieux débutant à 11 :00.

Obituary of Carmel Monette
Originally from Maniwaki, passed away peacefully on December 30th, 2025, at the Maniwaki Hospital at the age of 89. She was the beloved wife of the late Cleetis Monette and the daughter of the late James Carroll and the late Annie Lannigan.
She is survived by her devoted daughter Roxann (late Roger Paris), her cherished grandchildren, Chanelle Paris (Mathieu Levesque) and Tristan Paris (Elodie Laroche), her sister Alvira (late Neil Galbraith). She was preceded by her brother Patrick, and her sisters Elizabeth and Rachel. She also leaves behind many brother in-laws, sister in-laws, nephews and nieces and dear friends who will forever remember her with love.
A special thank you provided by Dre. Audrey Bertrand and Dr. Legault of the Maniwaki Hospital. The family would also like to thank Suzanne and Andre Lanthier for their unconditional support.
The family will receive the condolences at the St-Patrick’s Church, 252 des Oblats St. in Maniwaki from 10:30am to 11:00am, Saturday the 21st of February 2026 followed by the religious ceremony at 11:00am.
