Jonathan Leroy Kitchen of Waswanipi passed away on December 13, 2025, at the Hull Hospital, at the age of 48.
Jonathan was the beloved son of Charlotte Kitchen and will be fondly remembered by his father at heart, Ned Paschene. He was a loving father to his children Austin, Sage (Sabrina), and Jewel, who were raised in Kitigan Zibi. He shared part... Jonathan was the beloved son of Charlotte Kitchen and will be fondly remembered by his father at heart, Ned Paschene. He was a loving father to his children Austin, Sage (Sabrina), and Jewel, who were raised in Kitigan Zibi. He shared part of his life with his partner Jill and held a special place in his heart for her sons, Jordan and Noah.
Jonathan was predeceased by his son, Eathan, whom he carried forever in his heart.
He will be remembered for his love of family, his strength, and the connections he shared with friends and family. His presence, stories, and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A wake will be held at the Kitigan Zibi Funeral Parlour on December 19, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The closing ceremony will begin at 2:00 p.m., followed by a feast. Interment will take place after cremation at a later date.
Jonathan’s memory will live on through his children, family, and all those whose lives he touched.
