From Kitigan Zibi, Raymond ‘Fidgy’ Major, peacefully passed away July 4th, 2025, in Maniwaki at the Foyer Père Guinard, at the age of 77. Son of the late Lorenzo Major, and the late Josephine Dumont.
He will be forever remembered by his siblings: Antony, Patsy (Evey), Lise, Diane, Lyne (Marc), Lynda (Late Daniel), Suzanne (Patri... ce).
He was predeceased by his brother Roméo ‘Sony’. He will be forever remembered by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
A ceremony to honour his life will take place at McConnery’s funeral home in Maniwaki. This ceremony will take place in the intimacy of his loved ones on August 14th, 2025.
The family wishes to thank the medical staff, the attendants, and the volunteers of the Père Guinard Home.
De Kitigan Zibi, Raymond ‘Fidgy’ Major est décédé paisiblement le 4 juillet 2025, à Maniwaki, au Foyer Père Guinard, à l’âge de 77 ans. Fils de feu Lorenzo Major et de feu Joséphine Dumont, il laisse dans le deuil son frère et ses sœurs : Antony, Patsy (Evey), Lise, Diane, Lyne (Marc), Lynda (feu Daniel), Suzanne (Patrice). Il fut prédécédé par son frère Roméo ‘Sony’. Il laisse dans le deuil de nombreux neveux, nièces, cousin(e)s et ami(e)s.
Une cérémonie en sa mémoire aura lieu à la maison funéraire McConnery de Maniwaki. Cette cérémonie se déroulera dans l’intimité de ses proches le 14 août 2025.
La famille tient à remercier le personnel médical , les préposés et les bénévoles du Foyer Père Guinard.
