Ricky Peck

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Ricky Peck, 66, of Kazabazua, on Sunday, September 20, 2026. Born on January 3, 1960, Ricky was a bright and enduring presence in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Known for his wonderful sense of humour, captivating storytelling, and quick wit, Ricky had a remarkable gift for bringing people together. His warmth and charm could light up a room, while his kindness, generosity, compassion, and caring nature made everyone feel welcome, accepted, and at ease. He opened both his heart and his home to anyone who needed support, friendship, or a place to belong.

Ricky’s greatest devotion was to his family. He and his beloved wife, Bonnie, were together for 50 years and married for 43. They were each other’s only loves, and their enduring relationship was a beautiful reflection of their deep love, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to one another.

Ricky’s love and pride for his family were evident in everything he did. He always showed up, making the needs of his family his highest priority. He was there for every football game, singing lesson, performance, birthday, anniversary, and important milestone. Whether he was driving his children and grandchildren to their activities, cheering them on from the sidelines, celebrating their accomplishments, or standing beside his family through life’s challenges, Ricky could always be counted on.

For Ricky, love was something to be lived each day. He gave his family his time, attention, strength, patience, and steadfast support without hesitation or expectation. His presence was a constant source of reassurance—a quiet promise that no matter what happened, he would be there.

That same devotion extended to everyone fortunate enough to know him. Ricky offered guidance, encouragement, wisdom, and support freely and selflessly. His attentiveness and genuine interest in others made each person feel valued, heard, and important. He had a rare ability to make people feel that they mattered. His captivating charm drew people to him, and he was often described as a man of steel, Superman, and confidant—a strong, dependable presence who could be trusted with anything.

Ricky will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Bonnie; his daughter, Amanda (Mathieu); his cherished grandchildren, Ethan and Eli; his best friends, Shane, Mike, Kevin, Chris, Wayne, Warren, and Jim; and many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son, Joseph; his brother, Robbie; and his parents, Mabel and Joseph.

Ricky leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, laughter, resilience, strength, and compassion. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. He will be remembered not only for the joy and laughter he brought into every room, but also for the comfort, acceptance, loyalty, and unconditional support he gave so generously. Above all, Ricky will be remembered for the way he loved—for showing up, standing strong, and making the people around him feel safe, valued, and never alone.

A celebration of Ricky’s life will be announced at a later date.
